The research says
The work is hard.
High workloads, long hours, constant demands and tight deadlines can leave little room to think. Add low psychological safety and the emotional weight of distressed clients, family and children work, and it becomes much harder to keep going well.

1:1 Therapeutic sessions
Psychotherapeutic support for individuals experiencing overwhelm or burnout. Delivered remotely, this offers timely, confidential support when someone is struggling and needs a space to think, feel and stabilise.
We accept direct referrals, and this service is also helpful for Managing Partners and HR leads who may need urgent interventions involving a presenting employee.
Wellbeing Training Programmes
Specialist training for legal professionals, delivered online or in person.
Topics include trauma-informed practice, stress and burnout, sleep, suicide awareness, working with distressed clients and difficult conversations, and Neurodiversity.
Therapeutic Supervision
1:1 & Small Groups

Monthly proactive sessions draw on reflective practice approaches and explore the impact of the work, perspective-shifting, emotional regulation, and exercises in compassionate inquiry.

HOW IT WORKS
Don’t know where to start?
- Tailored Services
- Confidential Sessions
Initial Conversation
A short, confidential call to explore what is needed. No pressure, just a straightforward conversation about what support might help.
Tailored plan
If we decide to work together, we agree on an approach that fits your needs, whether that is short-term support, supervision, training or a wider team offer. Six-month pilot schemes can also be a useful starting point for firms and can offer useful KPI’s to review impact.
Ongoing support
We meet regularly online or in person, depending on the service. Support is shaped around the person, role or team, never delivered as a one-size-fits-all package.

ABOUT KERRY LAWLOR

I've spent many years working alongside lawyers, hearing first-hand what the job really asks of you and how little space there often is to talk about its impact.
Before setting up The Law Space, I worked in employee wellbeing and reflective practice across professional services, so I understand the culture, pace, and pressures many legal professionals navigate. I know you are not looking for jargon or generic resilience advice; you need somewhere honest, grounded and safe to bring the parts of the work you cannot share elsewhere.
I created The Law Space to offer exactly that: a calm, confidential space where legal professionals can pause, reflect, regroup and keep going in a way that is sustainable.
Our hand-picked team of therapists and supervisors extends that support, offering depth of experience, warmth and the importance of the right relational fit.
